An original, new and surprising album by singer Shlomo Katz. Many know Shlomo Katz as the person responsible for discovering the hidden melodies of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, which he also recorded over the years. The most prominent of which are 'Nigun Nesma', 'Bora Olam' and 'Kashushana' - have become the property of an iron sheep thanks to him. But his musical talent begins in his father's house. While still at his parents' house, he already composed quite a few melodies, which he recorded on several albums. Many melodies composed by him have become common property, with some of them not even being known to the public. Such as the melodies: Nigun Nevo, Veh Kohanim, Kabadu, Shema Kolenu, Shabbat Kodesh - which already occupy a place of honor in the Jewish songbook. Some of them were re-recorded on the album Live Performance in Melbourne, Australia. The burning desire for original creation continued to influence Shlomo's musical path, and so about two years ago he decided to work on an album with a new and unconventional musical line. A long flight to a performance in South Africa made it possible to begin work. Later, he teamed up with the talented musical producers Nadav Bachar and Oren Tzur, and after two years of hard work, the work was completed into a finished work. Shlomo Katz's new full-length album, Yishmach Melech, is currently being released, containing ten songs and melodies, both deep and sweet. Most of the songs on the album were written and composed by him, making the album an original Jewish work that includes texts in Shlomo's unique and poetic writing style, interwoven with words from the sources. "It was important to me to choose 'Yishmach Melech' for the album title, as this is the prayer that I usually say these days: that when the king looks at us, he will simply be happy," explains Shlomo. Singer Yonatan Razel is a guest on the album for a duet with Shlomo on the song Libi Besheri. A special and joyful melody is the melody of the birds, and the song A Moment of Humility, which is all about personal empowerment, will do you a lot of good. Mehra - is a song that is usually associated with weddings, but here it is an optimistic prayer song. And those who already want to prepare for the holiday of Purim, which is coming upon us for good, can do so with the help of the bouncy song Shosnat Yaakov.
