Pashkvil Today: Yehuda Schlesinger with a new section on the Haredi world in Israel Today

Tomorrow (Friday), a new section will appear for the first time in Israel Hayom's weekend newspaper, which will deal with Judaism, tradition, and the Haredi world. The section, which will be written by the Haredi affairs correspondent, Yehuda Schlesinger, is expected to deal with all the fascinating stories that concern the religious and Haredi world, issues of religion and state, Kabbalah and mysticism, and matters of tradition that concern all citizens in the State of Israel.  Tomorrow, new and revolutionary news will be published on burial matters in Israel, and a particularly interesting statement by one of the country's senior rabbis that concerns hundreds of thousands of Israelis. A column will also be published with selected questions and answers from senior rabbis on current issues. "The Haredi world is increasingly taking its place in Israeli discourse, in politics, the economy, the army, in shaping the character of the country, and above all in demography," says Schlesinger. "There are Haredi companies and Haredi high-tech companies, and even the first Ashkenazi Haredi minister. There is a whole world of mysticism and Kabbalah, Halacha and medicine, revolutionary modern customs and rulings. "The Haredi world is a fascinating world, and I hope I will succeed in bringing its story to the forefront of public discourse." On Friday, the newspaper is distributed in 550,000 copies. According to a TGI survey, Israel Hayom receives 39.8% exposure.
