Does the world really care about what is happening in our small country? Is it interested? And perhaps, like a woman giving birth, who is sure that everyone knows about her new baby, like a child receiving an award and is sure that the whole world saw, so it seems to us that the world sees, that the world speaks, that the world thinks and that the world is interested in us?
In fact, those who are interested in us are the leaders of Arab countries and also those who need to know what was said and what happened here, in order to decide how to navigate their path.
That is, how to take our words to use them against us, and how to take our actions to hit us.
It's just that these people see what they feel like seeing, what suits them to see, and what is important to them to see, in order to speak against us, to defy and sabotage.
Apart from them, few people are truly interested in our tiny country. And those, unfortunately, don't even know what's really happening in our region, because our information center has fallen silent and is nonexistent.
We are careful not to accidentally shoot an Arab who is out to exterminate us, just because of "what the world will say." We are afraid to say what we think, because of "what everyone will say about us." We try to walk quietly between the drops, so that they don't think what we don't want them to know.
But are those we call "the world" really waiting for our actions to decide who we are?
Do they really expect us to behave well and then they will broadcast to everyone that we are good kids and deserve candy? – It is not certain, and with all this we should at least try to explain to the few who still care what is really going on here.
An era of short films
In today's era, where everyone photographs everyone, then takes the photographed reality and changes it to their liking - in this era, no one knows what really happened, certainly not people who are not part of the camp of our people.
They "buy" the goods that are sold to them, they swallow the 'lukewarm' that is fed to them, and decide based on all of this exactly what happened.
In this era, where filmed films pass in a millisecond, unblockable and unstoppable – in this world, everything is completely uncontrolled.
What the "world" sees are a few quick, short films that are presented to it and nothing more.
Who has the time and energy to listen to long conversations, broad discussions, and in-depth coverage? No one.
We come with a complaint to those responsible for this 'Israeli fashion show', who do not represent us properly, certain that if they represented us correctly, then we would not be in such a bad situation in terms of our image in the eyes of the Gentiles, and we do not notice that we are, with our own hands, breaking through the logical boundaries.
At a time like this, when we should have at least blocked access routes to our camp - we are doing things that are contrary to common sense, things that only detract and spoil, things that only expand the borders and aid our murderers.
We ourselves, with our own hands, take care to extract the footage of the event, from our security cameras, located in the places where the attack occurred. Otherwise, where do you think we get all the films that show one by one how we overcame the enemy, how we prepared the criminal, how we neutralized the evildoers and did not allow them to continue their work? And also how they managed to shed our blood?
We, with our own hands, on a platter of gold, allow our enemies to take the photograph that shows us in some way, make corrections and renovations to it, until things look exactly as they want to present us, and then flood the world with photographs of our sublime heroism and victory, which happened or did not happen, or with their acts of killing that are presented as they did or did not happen, but serve the other side in the best possible way.
We take care to highlight their criminal acts and our actions in response, and at the same time show the entire event that happened, from beginning to end.
Anyone can, if they want to, take part in the action and build an action that suits their needs. It's true that anyone can film these days, it's true that there's no control over the private films a person shoots, but from here to feeding the wolves straight into their mouths, from exclusive security footage, it's a long, long way.
No more stupid than them
In an era where the propaganda war is carried out using cameras and film, perhaps we will join the fight.
First, we should not extract information from security cameras. These are our cameras, they are in our hands, and we should lack basic understanding to allow access to this secret and hidden material.
Second, let's use the same means they use. They take a photograph of a 13-year-old murderer and turn him into an innocent Arab boy who needs to escape from Jewish murderers, who do not spare him and murder him in cold blood, even though they later find him lying on his back on a comfortable hospital bed on his way to his release.
Let's take films in which we see our soldier next to a terrorist, arrange the film so that it shows the soldier's concern for the innocent Arab boy, see how he gives his life for him and lovingly cleans his wounds, edit and send the film we arranged to the world.
We see films in which a soldier serves drinks to Arabs, or hugs an Arab child.
We can direct these films, to our hearts' content, just as the other side does. I'm sure they'll run on YouTube and rack up millions of views (similar to the film by the Children of Redemption honoring soldiers that gained momentum in our small country and found interest in everyone's heart).
Our advocacy should not stem from our power, our might, our victory, nor from our blood spilled like water and our humiliation. There is no need for capital to carry it out.
Let's take pictures of life, embellish it, and paint it in bright colors, just like the others do, and send the short videos to all the world. The more videos we make, the deeper we will penetrate into the hearts of the people of the world.
Arab leaders and the rest of their followers will try not to see the videos, because they will interfere with the work of lies and deceit on which they are based. In the end, they will look away and gnash their teeth, but those people who may still be interested in what is happening here and buy and swallow everything they are fed, maybe they will change their minds about us and our people, and who knows, maybe in the end something in what we call: 'world public opinion' will change.
Sometimes, to explain and shape an opinion, all you need is to learn from their explanation.
We are no more stupid than them, I thought, we are even smarter.
