Meir Martin Wiederker is a religious Jewish businessman living in Germany. In his youth he was involved in music as a virtuoso violinist, and for years he has been writing melodies.
His melodies, imbued with a Jewish aroma and special grace, were for years without proper publicity.
About two years ago, Meir began recording and distributing his songs and compositions. In this framework, he recruited pianist and arranger Menachem Bristowsky, who wrote, arranged, orchestrated and conducted the two 'Shabbat HaMalka' albums, and cantor Yaakov Rosenfeld, who performed his singing on the first album.
For the second album, the cantor and singer Avrimy Roth, known for his unique singing, was called to the flag, and he performed several songs from the album. The albums were accompanied by the 'World Friends Choir', under the baton of conductor Yaakov Rothblatt.
The collection of clips presented here is a summary of a long and Sisyphean work on two albums, from the artist's album series: "150 Songs of the King" - ten hymns from the Psalms composed by David, King of Israel, and the album "Shabbat Hamalka No. 2" from the Sabbath album series.
