Two days after his arrival for a short visit to Israel, the tzaddik Moharosh Shlita of Breslov is gathering his students in Israel for a rare emergency gathering to be held today (Wednesday) at the Great Synagogue in Yavneel, Breslov, for men at 2:00 PM and for women at 9:30 PM.
The tzaddik Mivanel announced the gathering last night in a dramatic letter distributed in his handwriting, with the headline reading: "Two years after I had a heart attack, a special emergency meeting."
"This time I came here on a very special mission that I have never spoken about in public," the Mohrash begins his mysterious letter. "And now we have come to such a situation that I can no longer remain silent," the tzaddik writes, and later announces the gathering that will be held for all Breslov Hasidim, both men and women. "Spare my soul and come, all of you, who are waiting for your arrival," the tzaddik concludes the surprising announcement that put the Breslov Hasidim in great tension ahead of the rare gathering.
Following the letter, a "day of cancellation of work" was declared in Yavne'el, the city of Breslov, possibly for the first time in its history. Various speculations and hypotheses are being heard among the students about the purpose of the gathering, among which there are those who assume that it will discuss the health condition of the Hasidic leader or the difficult financial situation in which the institutions in Yavne'el have found themselves. Either way, things will be clarified this afternoon.
