An unusual incident occurred today (Tuesday) in the Knesset corridors, when MK Moshe Gafni spoke in a mocking manner towards Attorney Gali Bahar-Miara.
According to a report by Michael Shemesh on Channel 13, the incident occurred in front of those present in the Mishkan, after the Knesset Guard opened a side exit for Bahar-Miyara, which is usually blocked, in order to shorten her route and prevent her from passing through all the main corridors - and she would receive insults and "bites" from those present.
In response, MK Yitzhak Pindarus exclaimed: "Who gave her permission to leave there?""
Gafni, who was present at the scene, replied to Pindarus: "Say thank you, they passed her through my office earlier. Don't worry, we washed up after her.".
Shemesh noted about what happened: "What the fury of the ultra-Orthodox politicians is capable of getting out of them.".
In addition to Gafni and Pindaros, MK Tali Gottlieb also attacked Baharav Meyara with harsh words in a discussion that took place earlier in the Knesset committee.
""You are persecuting us. You are behaving like a criminal organization. You have ruined the legal advice to the government with a rude and heartless manner," said Gottlieb Lehrab-Miara, who was present at the hearing. "You acted with a clear goal after the October 7 inferno - to end the right-wing government and whitewash the top brass of the Shin Bet.".
MKs Yossi Taib and Moshe Aboutbol of Shas also attacked Rabbi Meara. They shouted at her during the debate: "Stop persecuting Torah students! Stop harming mothers and starving children!""
Following the commotion, the chairman stood up and left the committee.
