Nasia Karadi, 11, who was critically injured in an Iranian missile strike in Bnei Brak on the eve of Passover, died of her injuries on Friday at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.

The girl is the daughter of Rabbi Elazar Elchanan and Hila Karadi.

Her funeral will leave tonight - Saturday night - at 11:00 PM from her parents' home at 10 Rimon Street in Shikun V, B'B, to the Beit HaChaim El-Ad.

Nessia is the niece of Rabbi Michael Lasri.

Chairman of the Shas faction in Bnei Brak, Shlomi Elharar: "The heart refuses to believe that such a young and pure flower was plucked from us. Nasia, may God have mercy on her, became a symbol of unity and prayer for the entire city. We were privileged to accompany the family in the most difficult moments, and we hoped together with all the residents of Bnei Brak for a miracle. Nasia now ascends to heaven as a public sacrifice, pure and holy.""

The Bnei Brak Municipality stated: "The mayor, the mayor, his deputies, members of the city council and the entire city's residents are shocked and saddened upon receiving the bitter news of the passing of the girl Nasiya Karadi, who returned her pure soul to her Creator after being critically injured by a cluster bomb on the eve of Passover.

Tens of thousands of residents of the city, along with the entire House of Israel, have been praying and pleading for her recovery since the serious injury, and have accompanied with hope her fight for her life at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer. To our great regret, the decision was made and the young flower was plucked with the blood of its days.

Mayor Rabbi Hanoch Seibert said: "The entire city of Bnei Brak embraces the dear Karadi family at this difficult time. We mourn the passing of a beautiful girl whose entire future was ahead of her, and pray that God will send comfort and healing to the hearts of the parents and the family. The municipality will stand by the family and accompany them in all that is necessary in this time of pain and grief.

"We share in the family's heavy grief and pray that the Holy One, blessed be He, will say enough to our troubles, wipe away tears from every face, and no more robbery and destruction will be heard on our border. May her soul be bound in the bundle of life.".

This brought the number of deaths on the home front during Operation 'Harry's Roar' to 28.
