The forces of the 188th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the Gaza Division, have been operating in recent weeks in the Khan Yunis area, east of the Yellow Line, as part of an operation to clear the area of underground threats.
During the operation, in cooperation with Yahalam fighters, an underground route hundreds of meters long was located and destroyed.
Inside the tunnel were three living rooms used by the terrorists, as well as dozens of weapons.
Among the findings: about 45 grenades, about 35 cartridges, about 10 Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, an RPG launcher, about 10 charges and six combat vests.
The IDF noted that "IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the region in accordance with the outline of the ceasefire agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.".
