President Donald Trump announced tonight (Monday) that the first phase of the '21-point' plan - the release of the hostages - is scheduled to be completed this week.
In a post on his TRUTH SOCIAL website, the president wrote: "This weekend, very positive discussions were held with Hamas and countries from all over the world (Arabs, Muslims, and all the rest), to release the hostages, end the war in Gaza, but more importantly, finally have a lasting peace in the Middle East.".
He said, "These talks were very successful, and progressed quickly. The technical teams will meet again on Monday, in Egypt, to work and clarify the final details.".
""I have been told that the first phase is due to be completed this week, and I ask everyone to act quickly.".
The president emphasized: "I will continue to monitor this centuries-old 'conflict.'" Along with this, he also sent a threat apparently addressed to Hamas, clarifying: "Time is of the essence, otherwise there will be massive bloodshed - something no one wants to see!""
