Following another day of disruption by protest organizations: Yehoshua Shani, father of Captain Uri Mordechai Shani and chairman of the Heroism Forum, today (Tuesday) issued a pointed appeal to Police Commissioner Danny Levy, firmly demanding that he take action against the roadblocks.
In a video published by Shani, he demanded that the Commissioner stop the roadblocks by the protesters, who constitute a handful of radical leftists who are violating the freedom of movement of Israeli citizens.
At the beginning of his speech, Shani addressed the citizens of Israel: "I appeal to you, citizens of Israel, pay attention to what is happening today. We, the absolute majority of the citizens of Israel, whose hearts are constantly with the abductees and with the demand to return them all safely, and with the demand that the Israel Defense Forces bring a complete victory in destroying the enemies. Today, we are blocked by a handful of radical leftists, who cynically exploit reality and block our roads, harming our freedom of movement.".
Continuing his remarks, Shani pointed an accusing finger directly at the Police Commissioner: "I am addressing you, Mr. Commissioner of the Israel Police, this is your responsibility. Who pays your salary? We, the citizens of Israel. We demand that you send the police today to allow freedom of movement for us, the citizens.
""It is impossible for us to be harmed by a handful of radical leftists. This is your responsibility, bring it to expression today, free Israel's roads and deal with those lawbreakers.".
