Work to build the line will begin in the coming days and will last several weeks.
The move comes after, in accordance with the directives of the political echelon, the IDF, through the IDF, approved several weeks ago for the United Arab Emirates to advance an initiative to connect a water line from the desalination plant in Egypt to the Al-Mawasi area along the coastline.
The water line is expected to provide a solution for approximately 600,000 residents in the Gaza Strip, and will operate independently of the water lines from Israel.
